Archivi.ng Fellowship
Archivi.ng Fellowship is out to tell Nigerian stories through digital platforms.
Nigeria’s rich history and cultural heritage have largely been inaccessible and underutilized. To solve this problem, Archivi.ng has set out to preserve the country’s heritage through the digitalization of archival materials into newspapers and magazines.
Archivi.ng believes that digitalizing archival documents will make Nigeria’s history easily accessible and better understood.
Guided by the question: What stories and perspectives are hidden in Nigeria’s archives, waiting to be uncovered? Archivi.ng is inviting applications from historians, journalists, writers, filmmakers, content creators, technologists, artists, and everyone interested in telling Nigerian stories to participate in a six-month program “designed to enhance the world’s understanding of Nigerian history in engaging and meaningful ways.”
