Football legend, Diego Maradona has passed on after suffering a cardiac arrest. The World Cup winner suffered a heart attack just barely two weeks after undergoing surgery on a blot clot in his brain. Regarded as one of the greatest footballers of all time, Maradona’s career hit its peak in 1986 when he helped Argentina win the World Cup.
During his playing days, he featured for Boca Juniors and top European sides such as Napoli where he is highly regarded as a club legend, Barcelona, and more. Maradona’s was career was filled with controversies related to drugs and alcohol addiction. He was also notable for the infamous ‘’Hand of God’’ goal which eliminated England from the 1986 World Cup.
