Rumours suggest the Portuguese football star does not feel part of Erik ten Hag’s plans.
As business continues in the summer transfer window, reports from La Republica in Italy has revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo is in search of another club and is set to depart Manchester United this summer.
Ronaldo reportedly does not feel part of Erik ten Hag’s plans with the former Ajax manager keen on introducing his aggressive pressing from the front style at Old Trafford.
The report also said the agent of Ronaldo, Jorges Mendes, is in the market in search of a suitable offer for the Portuguese national team captain. AS Roma of Italy and Sporting CP of Portugal where the 37-year-old started his career, are understood to both be interested in the five-time UEFA Champions League winner.
It is understood that Roma wants to use the influence of Jose Mourinho to lure Ronaldo to the club while Sporting CP are hopeful of a reunion with the former Real Madrid star.
Ronaldo finished the 2021/22 season as highest goal scorer for Manchester United with 24 goals in 37 games.
