Despite plunging Nigeria into severe debts, the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has sought the approval of the Nigerian Senate to borrow fresh N2.343 trillion in other to finance the 2021 budget.
During the plenary session of the Nigerian Senate today, May 18, 2021, Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, read an official letter from the President who is presently in France for an Economic Summit, seeking approval for a new loan.
