CAF believes the free e-visa will make it easier for fans to attend the biggest sport tournament in Africa.
The Confederation of African Football and the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 Local Organising Committee have declared that supporters making their way to the tournament will receive complimentary electronic visas.
The continental football authority shared this information in a statement posted on its website on Friday, indicating that residents of nations that ordinarily need a visa for Morocco entry will be covered by this measure.
“Electronic visas to enter Morocco — obtained through the YALLA app — are now free of charge for supporters attending the competition, which runs from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026,” CAF said.
The governing authority stated that this announcement arrives as international interest in Africa’s largest football competition continues to grow, with increasing numbers of fans securing tickets.

The body noted that fan identification will be required for entry into all match venues and official supporter areas.
“CAF Supporters can apply for both the Fan ID and e-visa in one place inside the YALLA app, streamlining travel and stadium access.
“The Fan ID application and e-visa request are completed seamlessly within the YALLA app, ensuring a faster, easier, and secure experience for international visitors and local fans alike,” it added.
CAF detailed that applicants need to download YALLA from Google Play or the App Store, or navigate to the YALLA website, fill in the Fan ID form, and, when applicable, complete the e-visa request.
After receiving approval, fans can proceed to purchase match tickets via the CAF ticketing platform.
The organization said these updated procedures were created to ensure a smooth and protected fan experience for Africa’s flagship tournament that will unfold at nine stadiums throughout six cities.
“CAF, with support from the LOC, reaffirms its commitment to delivering a world-class spectator experience throughout Africa’s greatest football celebration,” the football body added.
According to CAF, 298,000 tickets have been acquired through its ticketing platform in the first two phases, with customers from 33 African countries and 106 nations worldwide. The continental football tournament will run from 21st of December 2025 to 18th of January 2026 at nine stadiums in six host cities in Morocco.
