Imo Monarch, Chiefs Abducted By Gunmen

An Imo Monarch, Eze Charles Iroegbu, the traditional ruler of Umueze Nguru in the Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of the state, has been abducted by unknown gunmen.

Reports said that he was on his way back to his kingdom after attending a public function on Wednesday night in Mbano, when the gunmen attacked his convoy.

Some of his cabinet chiefs who accompanied him to the function were also abducted in the process.

There have been cases of gunmen activities in the state, and just like this recent attack, they have caused panic within the state.
