Governor Charles Soludo has vowed to crack down on insecurity and immoral conduct in Anambra State.
Viral video footage circulating online captured a security outfit in Anambra State announcing that women caught in public not wearing pants and bras will be arrested.
The security outfit, which made the announcement with a loudspeaker, also said that the order to arrest women who are “indecently dressed” was issued by the state governor, Charles Soludo.

They also announced that women who wear only panties in public will be arrested on the orders of the governor.
“Women who wear only bras, tights, and pants in public are warned to henceforth stop,” the announcement, which was made in Igbo, said.
“Any woman caught not wearing bras and pants while putting on outfits will be arrested and sent to prison.
“This order was issued by Governor Charles Soludo,” the announcer said.
In the past few weeks, Governor Charles Soludo has issued a number of orders aimed at ensuring peace and security of lives in the southeastern Nigerian state.
Governor Soludo has cracked down on native doctors popularly known as “Dibias” in the state, and a number of arrests have been made.
The order was in line with the governor’s resolve to end the spate of ritual killings in the state and curb fraudulent activities in the state, easily known as “Yahoo Yahoo” (internet scam), prevalent among youths.
