Former Super Eagles of Nigeria star, Victor Moses, on Saturday, October 24, 2020, dedicated his first goal for Russian Premier League side, Spartak Moscow, to peaceful protesters of the End SARS movement in Nigeria. Moses, 29, joined the Russian league outfits during the summer transfer from Chelsea on a loan deal, and has hit the ground running for his new club after grabbing a goal in just his second appearance for the team as they beat Krasnodar 3-1 on Saturday.
In a Twitter post, Moses while making reference to the October 20, 2020, shooting of peaceful protesters by the Nigerian army, opined that ‘’Nigerians have the right to protest and not be killed for it.’’
Brilliant win today and delighted to get my first goal for the club. I dedicate my goal today to the people of Nigeria. Enough is enough! Nigerians have the right to protest and not be killed for it. Pray for Nigeria
