FC Barcelona wonderkid, Ansu Fati, has been ruled out for four months after suffering a knee injury in Barcelona’s 5-2 win over Real Betis on Saturday. Fati, 18, was very active in the first half of Saturday’s encounter against Betis, but would be substituted in the second half after feeling uneasy.

On Monday, FC Barcelona confirmed that a successful surgery had been carried out on the internal meniscus of the forward’s left knee, and he is set to be on the sidelines for at least four months. Barcelona boss, Ronald Koeman would have to work on getting a suitable replacement for the Spanish international who has featured in 10 games so far this season, scoring five goals and registering two assists in the process.
