Barely a week after vacating the office of the presidency, Donald Trump on Monday, January 25, 2021 set up an official post-presidency office in Palm Beach County, Florida. The new ‘’Office of the Former President’’ is charged with the responsibility of managing the correspondences, public statements, appearances, and activities of the 45th President of the United States.
An official statement from the office noted:
Today, the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump formally opened the Office of the Former President…The Office will be responsible for managing President Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearances and official activities to advance the interests of the US and to carry the agenda of the Trump administration. President Trump will always and forever be a champion for the American people
President Trump has maintained public silence since departing the White House last Wednesday (January 20) for his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
