Popular Nigerian writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, has lost her mother, Mrs. Grace Ifeoma Adichie, months after loosing her lovely father. The former University of Nigeria, Nsukka staff passed on Monday, March 1, 2021 in Awka, Anambra State.

Mrs. Grace died at the age of 78, leaving behind six children ( Ijeoma, Uchenna, Chuks, Okechukwu, Chimamanda and Kenechukwu) and nine grandchildren, as well as inlaws and numerous relatives.

As at the time of this report, Chimamanda has not made any public statement as regards the demise of her mother who she has on several occassions hailed for her role in nurturing her as a human, woman, career, and more.
