Insatiable protesters have mobilised themselves in Abuja to protest against the seemingly crippled Buhari administration.
The angry protesters were said to have blocked the Abuja Airport Road in the early hours of Monday, June 21.
The protest was primarily championed by young Nigerians who angrily marched to Dantata Bridge, which is the major entry and departure point of the FCT.
As they marched on, the protesters kept yelling “Buhari Must Go”, raising placards.
Among other things, their major concerns were the insecurity in the country, corruption, weak governance and the Twitter suspension.
The protesters were heard chanting “Se democracy be this, se democracy be this, people dey die like flies, se democracy be this (Is this a democracy? People are dying like flies, is this a democracy)?”
To demonstrate the intensity of their rage, the youngsters set up a flaming barricade along the Expressway, obstructing the movement of vehicles.
The entire #BuhariMustGo slogan and demonstration was said to have been started by human right activist, Omoyele Sowore.
