Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo, scored his first goal for English Premier League side, Watford FC, in a pre-season friendly game against Doncaster Rovers at St. George’s Park on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.
The Hornets started the game brightly and took the lead just five minutes into the encounter through a fierce shot from Etebo. Team captain, Troy Deeney, Dan Gosling and Ashley Fletcher would go on to score in the game as Watford triumphed by 4-0.
Nigerian defender, Troost-Ekong also featured in the game alongside the likes of Emmanuel Dennis and former Nigerian youth international, Tom Dele-Bashiru.
