Actor Jemima Osunde has reached out to her supporters requesting respect for her personal space following an incident where she was filmed without consent while in public.
The Nollywood star took to the social media platform X to voice her concerns about being unexpectedly recorded by admirers and digital content creators.
She politely asked them to avoid immediately pointing cameras at her when they encounter her in public spaces.
“I know everyone is a content creator now but please don’t see me outside and immediately shove a camera in my face,” the Lion Heart actor said.
“I’m begging you .
“Imagine picking tampons off the shelf and then you turn to see a camera in your face mahn.
“Hi and nice to meet you but please no.”
The actress’s message generated varied responses from social media users.
Many people endorsed her request for personal boundaries and consideration, while others suggested that such situations are inevitable for celebrities.
