Hoodlums have attacked the country home of Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, seting the residence on fire.
The country home which is located in Omuma, Oru East local government area of the state, was reported to have been set ablaze by unidentified armed men in the early hours of Saturday.
Reports said that sympathizers and concerned villagers struggled to extingish the fire and recover as much as they could from the ruins.
It was also reported that the building and official vehicles were set ablaze, while a dead body was found lying in front of the governor’s house.
