The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State has lost its House of Representative Member, representing Akure North and Akure South, Isaac Adedayo Omolafe.
According to reports, late Omolafe, 49, passed early Monday at about 2am in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
The members of PDP Ondo have been thrown into a state of mourning as a result of the sudden death of their party member.
The lawmaker was said to have been rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Owo, where he died, after he developed a sudden medical condition which is yet to be disclosed.
Late Omolafe who was popularly called “Expensive”, was elected to the National Assembly in 2019 under the banner of the PDP.
Some members of the PDP have taken to their Facebook pages to express their grief on the death of the late Omolafe.
“Painfully painful.Lord comfort the family.What a vanity world!!! Good night buddy”, wrote Alafe Abbey.
“A great iroko has fallen”, Okeke Amotekun Nnaemeka wrote.
“Erin wo l’Oyemekun”, wrote Abosede Ige-Akintade.
