Diallo has been taken into custody as investigation continues over the case involving both French women’s national team players.
French midfielder Aminata Diallo has been arrested in connection with an alleged attack on her PSG teammate Kheira Hamraoui. According to a report from French daily L’Equipe on Wednesday, Hamraoui who joined PSG from Barcelona in the summer was attacked by two masked men in the street on Thursday, November 4, 2021.

PSG confirmed Diallo’s arrest in a statement on Wednesday: “Paris St Germain can confirm that Aminata Diallo was taken into custody this morning by the Versailles Regional Police Service as part of the proceedings opened following an attack on [one of] the club’s players last Thursday evening.
“Paris St Germain condemns in the strongest possible terms the violence committed.
“Since Thursday evening the club has taken all necessary measures to guarantee the health, well-being and safety of its entire women’s team.
“Paris St Germain is working with the Versailles Police to clarify the facts. The club is paying close attention to the progress of the proceedings and will study what action to take.’’
Both players feature for the French women’s national team. While Diallo, 26, has spent five years with PSG, Hamraoui, 31, joined the European giants from FC Barcelona Femini in July after a successful career in Spain.
