Ibiyeoime has warned internet fraudsters to desist from the act.
The founder and presiding pastor of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has proclaimed curse on internet fraudsters and police officers aiding them.
Ibiyeomie stated this during a sermon in his church. According to the preacher, the activities of internet fraudsters, known as ‘Yahoo Boys,’ have led to the untimely death of many of their victims, whom they have scammed of hard-earned money and entitlement benefits.
“Let me tell us these Yahoo boys. Stop! I am a man of God. You kill people every day. When you Yahoo somebody, it is stealing. Don’t quote it anyhow. It is stealing. Most people, all their retirement benefits, you take it and people die. I curse you in the name of Jesus,” Ibiyeoime said.
Speaking further, the popular preacher said “it is a demonic, satanic way of getting money. Which kind of money is that? You are a thief. No matter how you colorize it, you are a thief. You love stealing! I curse the root of it. Do you know how many people you have killed? Scam kills people. Some people, the whole of their retirement benefit.”
While frowning at their activities, the clergyman stated that the cars being bought with the ill-gotten money will have an accident.
“You scam them and say you are buying car. What nonsense? You will get accident with that car,” he said.
Pastor Ibiyeomie also noted that traditional rulers that bestow chieftaincy titles on internet fraudsters are also aiding them. He further proclaimed curses on law enforcement officers that collect bribes from internet fraudsters and release them without proper trials.
“And to the police, all the Yahoo boys, jail them, arrest them. If you take bribe from Yahoo boys, that money kill you! That blood money that you take will kill you. You know why? They stole from somebody who died. You now collect money and release them. You and your family die with it. Police stop taking that kind of money,” Ibiyeoime advised .
