Pornography Actor Kagney Linn Karter Commits Suicide At 36

Pornographic film star and erotic dancer Kagney Linn Karter has committed suicide at the age of 36.

A GoFundMe page set up by the adult film star’s friends to raise money on behalf of her mother for her funeral disclosed that she took her life in her home.

The dancer’s friends, Rachel and Megan, said the deceased had a long battle with her mental health.

“Unfortunately, despite all of her many impressive accomplishments and talents, Kagney struggled with mental health issues as the years passed by,” Rachel and Megan said.

“Even in her darkest days, however, she still showed up to the studio, always ready to learn, contribute, better herself in whatever small way she could manage.

“As alone as she undoubtedly felt within the confines of her own head, she continued to make an effort to show up for her friends and the community who cared about her.

“She fought her own battles with the same tenacity and drive she showed in every other area of her life, with as much strength as she could,” her friends said.

Karter joined the pornography industry in the early 2000s, starring in films like “Official Silence of the Lambs Parody” and Not Married with Children XXX.

She was nominated on several occasions for the Adult Video News Awards but never won any.

Kartner was nominated as “Best New Starlet” in 2010 and bagged another nomination in 2011 as the “Top Female Performer of the Year.”
