The โKorobaโโ croonerโs 28-year career in the entertainment industry has been nothing short of successful, and when she was asked to describe Nigerians during an interview with British radio channel Kiss Fresh, she gave a hearty laugh before saying that โNigerians are hustlers.โ

โI don’t even know if there’s a word. I feel like we are special, and we make our mark anywhere.
โEven if you’re a taxi driver, a school teacher, a doctor, or wherever it is, we will be the best at that.โ
Tiwa, who was born in Nigeria but raised in the United Kingdom, has never lost her Nigerian roots and has praised her fellow Nigerians for their โgrit.โ
She further described Nigerians as the โbest at whatever it is we’re doing.โ
โI feel like we have that grit in us to just make it in whatever field we are in; we have that quality. We are everywhere.โ
