11 Bayern Munich Players Dominate FIFA/FIFPRO World 11 Nomination Of 55 Footballers

World football governing body, FIFA, has released the list of 55 players/nominees for the 2019/2020 season World 11. The award which is jointly organized by FIFA and FIFPRO is in its 16th edition since emergence in 2005. Cristiano Ronaldo is the only footballer to have appeared on all sixteen editions and is trailed by his rival, Lionel Messi (15), while Dani Alves and Sergio Ramos make the list for the 14th time in their career.

This year’s edition is slightly different as FIFA and FIFPRO has decided to change the structure to include 10 goalkeepers, 15 defenders, 15 midfielders, and 15 forwards. Reigning UEFA Champions League winners, Bayern Munich dominate this year’s list with a total of 11 players.
