During an interview for El Pais, former Barcelona coach, Quique Setien, stated that it is difficult to manage Barcelona star man and ‘’the best player in history,’’ Lionel Messi. Setien who discussed alongside Spain’s World Cup winning coach, Vicente Del Bosque, disclosed that there was nothing he could do to change Messi during his seven months reign as the head coach at FC Barcelona. Setien, 62, replaced Ernesto Valverde in January 2020, and only spent seven months in charge of the Barcelona bench, as club recorded one of their heaviest defeats in the UEFA Champions League after an 8-2 loss to Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the European elite competition.
