Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, had a brilliant display for Leicester City against Crystal Palace in the English Premier League on Monday night, April 26, 2021. An assist and a goal for the Nigerian saw him voted the Man of the Match by Leicester fans.
Wilfred Zaha gifted Crystal Palace the lead in the 12th minute of the clash as the first half went on to end 1-0 in favour of the visitors. The Foxes would return stronger in the second half and it would only take them five minutes after the break as Iheanacho’s pass met Timothy Castagne well to hand them the equalizer.
With ten minutes left, a long cross from Johnny Evans saw Iheanacho compose brilliantly before controlling the ball and striking a world class finish to hand Brendan Rodgers’ men the vital three points as they continue their bid for a top four finish.
