Bandits who attacked Sabon Tasha, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Thursday 8th July, have made a demand of N20 million ransom for each of the nine people they kidnapped.
According to reports, unknown bandits attacked a house and kidnapped six people including a landlord and his tenants.
Lamenting about the situation, a resident of Sabo who witnessed the attack said that the people of the community are tired of the series of recent kidnappings.
He said: “The bandits kidnapped 9 people on Wednesday in the community just two days after they abducted 121 students at Bethel Baptist high school. This is disturbing.”
It was also reported that when the residents protested against the attacks in the area, they were forced by policemen to vacate the roads and maintain order.
