Burna Boy took to his Instagram stories to reveal that it might take a long while for him to release a new album.
There is a huge possibility that for the first time since 2017, Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy, will not release an album. The Ye crooner took to his Instagram stories on Saturday, September 18 to make the revelation, saying: “I might decide not to drop an album for a long time. In fact, you know what, no album till further notice.’’
It will be recalled that in April 2021, Burna Boy was reported by Pulse to have teased an August 2021 release date for his next album, but the self-acclaimed “African Giant’’ appears to have shelved those plans after releasing two major hits ‘Kilometre’ and ‘Question’ with Don Jazzy.
Burna’s 2020 album “Twice As Tall’’ won him the Best Global Music Album award at the 63rd Annual Grammys held in Los Angeles, California, on March 14, 2021.
