The teenager marked his return on Sunday after a long knee injury lay-off with a brilliant goal.
Barcelona wonderkid, Ansu Fati, returned in brilliant fashion and commanded a man of the match performance in Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Levante in the Spanish La Liga on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
Ansu Fati, 18, suffered a huge set back in his career after a knee injury in November, 2020 has kept him out of action. However, he looked sharp on Sunday while wearing Lionel Messi’s number 10 shirt as Barca returned to winning ways in the absence of Ronald Koeman.
Dutchman, Memphis Depay, put the Blaugrana ahead after converting a sixth minute penalty before summer transfer deadline day signing, Luuk de Jong, scored his first goal for the Spanish football giants in the 14th minute.
Ansu Fati who started the game from the bench and was introduced with less than ten minutes left, made an instant impact before scoring the third goal of the game which has moved Barca to the fifth spot on the table, five points behind league leaders, Real Madrid, with a game to spare.
