The multi-talented actress took to her Instagram stories to lament about Nigeria.
High profile Nigerian media personality and actress Stephanie Coker has slammed the situation of things in Nigeria and called for “needs to be more value placed on the human lives in Nigeria.’’
Stephanie made this statement following the collapse of the 21-storey building in Ikoyi, Lagos State earlier this week. So far, 36 people have been confirmed dead from the tragedy which the actress said has made her not to “even sleep last night just thinking about the human beings trapped in Ikoyi.’’
The actress said in a post on her Instagram stories: “We live haphazardly in Nigeria and subjected to so much trauma. We have to pray about everything because the bare minimum standards are nonexistent in most sectors in Nigeria.’’
“Citizens have become desensitised to the most horrific accidents. It’s not normal for a trailer to fall on a car. It’s not normal for a building to just collapse.’’
