Asake has broken music charts within and outside Nigeria.
Fast-rising Nigerian act, Ahmed Ololade, popular with the stage name Asake, has broken an African Record on Apple Music as the first African album with the biggest opening day. The streaming platform in a statement hailed the YBNL singer and revealed the singer’s debut album had a “record-breaking weekend.’’
“Asake had a record-breaking weekend on Apple Music with the release of his debut album, ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe.’ Upon its release, the album broke the record for the biggest opening day for an African album in Apple Music history.”

Apple Music also disclosed that Asake’s “Mr. Money With The Vibe’’ album smashed another record by having the biggest opening three days for an African album in the history of Apple Music.
Asake is signed to Olamide’s YBNL and is currently the rave of the moment in the Nigerian entertainment industry. He has featured the likes of his boss, Olamide, and Burna Boy in hit singles.
