Oxlade performed with Wizkid in a sold-out arena in Paris.
Nigerian singer, Ikuforiji Olaitan Abdulrahman, popularly known as Oxlade, has revealed that superstar singer, Wizkid, advised him not to copy his style of music, but be unique in his own way. The “Ku lo sa’’ crooner made the revelation during an interview with Kiss FM UK.
Oxlade, 25, further hailed Wizkid’s impact on his career, disclosing that the “Essence’’ crooner advised him against making similar mistakes like he did in his career and gave him his first ever performance at the 02 Arena before he had a hit.
Recall that Oxlade made the waves in 2020 with his hit single “Away,’’ and has been consistent ever since. Recently, Wizkid brought Oxlade on stage as they both performed in a sold-out 20,000 capacity Accor Arena in Paris, France. Oxlade’s single “Ku lo sa,’’ is currently one of the most trending songs in Nigeria.
