Nollywood star Regina Daniels has addressed the criticism she received following her decision to post a TikTok video featuring her wealthy husband, Ned Nwoko, accompanied by the contentious audio track, “husbands are useless.”
The clip rapidly gained widespread attention online, with numerous social media users condemning her selection of soundtrack as inappropriate and offensive.
In her response through a new post, Regina appeared entertained by the public’s reaction.
She advised her followers to relax while clarifying that her intention was simply to participate in the popular Mama G trend.
“Guys, guys, guys, how about now? Why are you attacking me like this? This video, if it wasn’t me, it would be normal, you people should talk true,” the thespian said.
“I just wanted to do my Mama G song… All of you take waka!.” she wrote playfully.
She additionally joked that people should remain calm and avoid influencing her husband’s thoughts negatively.

In the caption accompanying the video, Regina wrote: “Abeg make this Una talk no too make my odogwu reason anything o… Una no go stop my alert this Monday morning ijn.”
