Regina Daniels Says She Was A Virgin Until She Married Ned

Actor Regina Daniels has said that she married Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko as a “virgin.”

Recall that the thespian and the politician tied the knot in 2019 when she was still 18 years old.

In a recent twist, Regina Daniels opened up about her life before marriage in a social media post.

Critics claimed that the actor married Ned because of his wealth, citing a 39-year age difference between them.

However, they have maintained their stability for five years and have successfully raised two children.

“When I started with my husband, I even forgot that I was supposed to have boyfriends,” she started.

“Of course I had like 20 (boyfriends) at the time; I can count them.

“This one is to buy me water; this one is to buy me chewing gum; this one is to drive me around.

“So when people think I didn’t have a choice, it’s crazy.”

The post sparked reactions from fans and her husband on social media. In a bid to fix things, she clarified her statement.

“Hey everyone, I want to clarify the 20 boyfriend ish solely to soothe my husband,” she said.

“And also, educate young girls that having several male/boy friends willing to do things for you doesn’t mean you owe them your body.

“And oh yes. I did have a lot, but I made a promise to keep my virginity till my marriage. And guess what? I did!!!. It’s a big flex.”
