Tems has achieved worldwide acclaim and Grammy success.
Singer Tems has achieved a groundbreaking milestone, marking herself as the first female artist from Nigeria to sell over 10 million units in the United States.
The historic feat was verified on Tuesday by Chart Data through X (formerly Twitter). The achievement was largely fueled by her chart-topping collaboration “Wait for U” with Future and Drake, which has successfully exceeded 10 million in sales.
This remarkable accomplishment contributes to Tems’ impressive array of global achievements, featuring a Grammy Award win for Best Melodic Rap Performance for “Wait for U” and her pioneering status as the first female African artist to achieve over one billion streams on Spotify.

The artist is presently embarking on her 2025–2026 global tour, with performances planned for major metropolitan areas such as Nairobi, Salvador (Brazil), and Los Angeles, where she is scheduled to perform at the legendary Dodger Stadium.
