President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed the new Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) board members.
Asides the board members, the President also announced his appointment and approval of George Abang Ekpungu as the Secretary of the Commission.
This disclosure was made on Monday by Dr Umar Gwandu, the Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations to the Minister of Justice, in Abuja.
The statement also read that the duration of appointment of the new EFCC officials will be for 5 years.
The board members subject to Senate confirmation are:
- Luqman Muhammad (South-South)
- Anyimba Adaeze (South East)
- Alhaji Kola Raheem Adesina (North Central)
- Alhaji Yahya Muhammad (North East)
