Popular American actor, Michael K. Williams, is dead. The actor who is popular for his roles in HBO series, “The Wire’’ as Omar Little and as Chalky White in “Boardwalk Empire,’’ was found dead in his Brooklyn Kent Avenue penthouse on Monday, September 6, 2021, by his nephew.
Drug paraphernalia was found in the actor’s apartment as reports suggest he might have died from a possible drug overdose at the age of 54.
However, the NYPD has disclosed that there is an “ongoing investigation’’ into the death of the actor who received a 2021 Emmy nomination for his role in “Lovecraft Country,’’ noting that the New York City medical examiner will determine the cause of the Hollywood star’s death.
