English footballer, Darnell Fisher, is set to be probed by the country’s Football Association for grabbing the genitals of Sheffield Wednesday’s Callum Paterson, in a Sky Bet Championship match on Saturday. Darnell Fisher of Preston was seen in a camera footage grabbing the genitals of Paterson twice. While Paterson tried to get the attention of the referee, David Webb, after the first grab, Fisher repeated same feat for the second time. Preston would go on to win the game by 1-0.

The English FA is understood to be aware of the incident and would investigate before taking any action. It would be recalled that earlier this year, Joe Marler, an English rugby union player was banned for 10 weeks for similar action after he was caught for a low grab on Alun Wyn Jones, the captain of Wales during a Six Nations game.
