Tiwa and Bunting were the lead actors in the “Water and Garri” film.
Tiwa Savage amazed fans when she said during a BET interview that she had to brush her teeth six times before kissing Andrew Bunting, her co-actor in the “Water and Garri” film.
The film, which was released this May, is the multi-award-winning singer’s debut lead role, and as expected, it drew a large amount of traffic for Prime Video.
Savage, who is notable on TV screens for hit songs such as “All Over,” “Koroba,” “My Darling,” and more, had to go through the acting ordeal of kissing on set, and she had to make special preparations for it.

Contrary to the thought of many that she brushed six times before kissing Bunting because she couldn’t stand his sight or maybe he had bad breath, Tiwa said she had to brush multiple times to give a good impression on set.

“The first day on set, I had my kissing scene. I am glad it was my first day because I just went right into it,” the ‘Kele Kele Love’ crooner narrated.
“I remember in my dressing room, I brushed my teeth like five, six times because I was like I needed to represent.”
She praised Bunting for being “very lovely. All of the cast was. They were really really nice.”
Before her lead role debut in “Water and Garri,” Tiwa, who said in April that acting was her first love before music, had featured in the Nollywood series “Shuga” and Funke Akindele’s “Jenifa.”
