Trump, 78, and Harris, 60, have carried out head-spinning campaigns that saw a felony conviction and two assassination attempts on Trump, while Harris surprisingly became the frontrunner for the Democratic Party after President Joe Biden was pressured to drop his campaign over health concerns.
The election is expected to be tight, as it might take days to know the winner and next president of the United States.
Former president Trump is making a bid to return to the White House after loosing to Joe Biden in 2020, while Harris is eyeing history as the first woman to become president of the United States.
Trump’s strong campaign points are his promises to seal the border and his proposal of tax cuts worth trillions of dollars, while Harris is banking on her promise to strengthen legislation for abortion rights as well as her pledge to lower food and housing costs.
Vice President Harris ended her campaign in the swing state of Pennsylvania, while Trump rounded up what is expected to be his last presidential campaign ever in another swing state, Michigan.
