World boxing heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, edged closer to having a chance for a fight against Tyson Fury to win the only major boxing belt he does not possess after a ninth round victory over Kubrat Pulev in the heavyweight championship fight at the SSE Arena, Wembley, on Saturday night (December 12).
The British-Nigerian boxer floored his opponent heavily thrice (twice in the last round), and completed an impressive performance with a vicious right hand to remain world IBF, WBA, and WBO champion. Joshua in front of 1,000 boxing fans alongside legendary Floyd Mayweather, commanded the attention of Fury for a fight with a decent display as both fighters look towards what would be the biggest contest in world boxing cum 2021.
