Nigerian dancer and reality TV star Roseline Afije, popular with the stage name Liquorose stirred some conversation on the social media space after pictures of her sheer or moire fabric outfit made the rounds.

The Big Brother Naija season 6 ‘Shine Ya Eye’ first runner-up’s sheer outfit and scarf was probably motivated by Rihanna’s outfit which saw the billionaire singer covered in Swarovski crystals.

Apart from releasing hit tracks, Rihanna who owns fashion brands is known for making strong fashion statements. Nigeria’s Liquorose might not be out of place if she has chosen to tow the path of the ‘Work’ crooner. However, the outfit has drawn a debate online regarding who rocked the outfit better and Rihanna seems to be way ahead in the chart.

Prior to the BBN season 6 show, Liquorose was more of a dancer and was unpopular in the fashion world. With the fame and relevance attached to emerging as a finalist in the biggest reality TV show in Africa, it is hardly surprising that she has decided to shift attention to fashion in a bid to put her gorgeous self on display.

Rihanna is a fashion business mogul with an estimated $1.4 billion dollars of her $1.7 billion dollars net worth coming from her cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty, while an estimated $270 million dollars from her net worth comes from her lingerie line Savage x Fenty. Liquorose is on the right path in her fashion career with Rihanna as role model, she can only get better with time.
