The 20-year-old singer vowed not to forgive the officials.
Singer Ayra Starr took to her Twitter handle to lament being forced by passport officials to remove her eyelashes before getting their services. The singer vowed to “never forgive” them.
Her tweet said:
“This passport office people really made me just remove my lashes. I’ll never forgive y’all.’’
Signed to Mavin Records, Ayra Starr, who is also popularly called the ‘Celestial Being,’ is one of the fastest-rising music acts in Nigeria. Hits like Bloody Samaritan, Rush, and Away, are all credited to the 20-year-old who was discovered by Don Jazzy.
As of the time of writing this report, the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has not reacted to the singer’s post. Ayra Starr is not the first celebrity to lament about the NIS.
Super Eagles of Nigeria star Henry Onyekuru recently posted how stressful it was working on his passport in Nigeria and getting it easily in Turkey.
