Biden says Netanyahu must allow aid into Gaza.
President of the United States Joe Biden has questioned the approach of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
Biden believes Netanyahu is making a “mistake” as global pressure continues to mount on Israel for a ceasefire.
“I think what he’s doing is a mistake. I don’t agree with his approach,” President Biden said in an interview.
President Biden said Gaza should be granted “total access to all food and medicine” for six to eight weeks.
“What I’m calling for is for the Israelis to just call for a ceasefire, allow for the next six, eight weeks, total access to all food and medicine going into the country,” President Biden said.
Recall that last week, Biden warned that US support for Israel is dependent on Israel’s willingness to allow food and medicine into Gaza.

Israel has denied accusations, saying it has hindered the entry of aid materials into Gaza and blamed UN agencies for failing to get aid to the people who need it.
President Biden also described the killing of seven aid workers as “outrageous” and lamented how the World Central Kichen’s vehicle was “hit by drones and taken out on a highway.”
Israeli Defense Forces said “grave mistakes” led to the killing of the aid workers and dismissed two senior officers for the mistake.
The war has now lasted for six months, and President Biden is under domestic pressure over US support for Israel.
At least 33,000 Gazans have been killed since the war started.
