Legendary Nigerian actor, Sadiq Daba, has died. The thespian gave up the ghost on the eve of Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at his Marwa Garden residence in Alausa, Lagos State, after a long fight with Leukemia and prostate cancer.
It will be recalled that Sadiq who became a household name in Nigerian television owing to his role as Bitrus in the former NTA drama series Cock Crow at Dawn, solicited for financial support from the pulic to tackle the ailments in 2019, prompting billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola alongside other Nigerians to support the high profile television personality.
Despite the support, Sadiq bid mother earth farewell on Wednesday. Tributes have been pouring in for the man who devoted his life to building the Nigerian entertainment industry.
