After a tour of troubled areas in Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has relaxed the curfew which he placed on the State on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. It will be recalled that the curfew was placed as peaceful protests canvassing for the end of police brutality in the country was hijacked by thugs and hoodlums. Highlighting the unprecedented level of destruction in the state within the past few days, Sanwo-Olu stated that from tomorrow, Saturday, October 24, 2020, residents will be permitted to go about their normal activities from 8am to 6pm until the security situation in the state is reviewed on Monday, October 26, 2020.
