Tiwa Savage’s First Feature Film, “Water And Garri,” Set For 2024 Release

Singer Tiwa Savage’s first feature film, “Water And Garri,” is set to be released sometime this year.

The multi-award-winning singer announced the release of the highly anticipated film through her social media pages on Wednesday.

“Guys, I’m so excited to announce that my first feature film, Water And Garri will be released this year through Prime Video and shown in over 240 countries and territories worldwide,” the Afrobeats singer said.

“This has been over two years in the making and is probably one of the most adventurous, fulfilling things I’ve done.

“I feel blessed and honoured not only to be making my debut as a lead actor, but to have also executively produced this film.

“I honestly can’t wait to take you guys along with me on this next phase of my life and art…. I’m just getting started.”

It will be recalled that in 2023, the superstar singer announced that shooting for her first feature film had been completed.

Fans awaited the release of the film, but the “Kele Kele Love” singer did not make any announcements about the release until today.

Tiwa Savage featured in the Nollywood series “Shuga” and caught the attention of fans with her versatility in the entertainment industry.

She takes on a lead role in a film for the first time in her career, and fans are highly anticipating the release of the movie as she joins top music acts such as Beyonce, who has featured in a film.
