Popular Nigerian disc jockey, DJ Switch, has called out Nigeria’s Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed over his remarks concerning the Lekki toll gate shootings of October 20, 2020, which saw a lot of peaceful #EndSARS protesters shot dead by the Nigerian military and police.
It will be recalled that Lai Mohammed during a press conference last week called out CNN for a documentary which served as an eye-opener to the globe about what happened at the Lekki toll gate, and equally questioned DJ Switch’s statements which revealed that contrary to the military’s refusal to admit to shooting live bullets at the protesters, they did.
DJ Switch who live streamed the shootings at the toll gate has been on the run alongside other protesters who have been targeted by the government. In a tweet, Switch questioned how ‘’a minister of information,’’ could ‘’be so ‘’misinformed’’?
