Nigerian telecommunications giants, Globacom (Glo) has disclosed plans to offer subscribers 36GB free data this Valentine’s season so they can share with their loved ones. The offer is part of Glo’s Smartphone Festival for this year’s Valentine.
In an official statement on Monday, February 8, 2021, Glo revealed that the offer is meant for Glo subscribers that will purchase two smartphones from any of the company’s retail outlets across Nigeria. The promo is set to run from February 8-22, 2021.
This offer is our way of adding flavour to our customers’ Valentine Season enjoyment. We expect that our customers will be engaged in a lot of online activities before and around February 14, so we decided to make it easier for them to buy devices at affordable prices for themselves and their loved ones…They will also use the free data bundles accruing from the promo to reach their loved ones to express their feelings of love and commitment

Further, the statement revealed that free data offers available ranges from 3GB to 36GB which eligible subscribers are set to get within the next six months. Also, the rate of smartphones purchased by customers determines the offer package. Handset models available for purchase include iPhones, Nokia, Tecno, Samsung, Infinix, Itel, Imose, and Vivo. Globacom also assured customers of the uniqueness of their products, adding that prices are competitive.
The subscriber is rest assured of the genuineness of the phones which come with warranties and after sales support from the manufacturers. The prices at the Gloworld outlets are also the most competitive in the market
