The actor was sent to prison after he was accused of raping a minor.
Film actor Moses Armstrong has debunked rape charges that were recently labeled against him. It will be recalled that in June, the thespian was arrested by the Akwa Ibom State police over allegations bordering on raping a minor he adopted.
The former aide to Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom was charged with rape, intimidation, conspiracy and supplying of drugs or instruments for procurement of abortion.
Armstrong was sent to prison but was granted bail on August 11 following a ruling from a High Court in Akwa Ibom State.
Following his release, friends and fans assembled in numbers to celebrate on and off social media. The actor in a Facebook post on Tuesday, August 16 noted that he is not a rapist and hailed fans for support.
Moses has established reputation as a legendary Nigerian actor.
