Amazon boss, Jeff Bezos, has reclaimed his spot as world’s richest man after Elon Musk’s fortunes fell by close to $14 billion in a single day. Tesla, an electric-vehicle firm which placed Musk as the world’s richest man last Thursday, January 7, 2021, fell in share price (nearly 8%) on Monday, January 11, and saw Musk loose $13.5 billion in net worth (he is now worth $176.2 billion).
With this, Musk is now $6 billion behind Bezos who despite an over 2% fall in Amazon’s shares on Monday (lowering his net worth by$3.6 billion) reclaims top spot with a net worth of $182.1 billion.
