Ahmed Musa Gives Reason For Kano Pillars Move

Nigerian international, Ahmed Musa, has cited his passion for the growth of Nigerian football as reason behind his move to join Nigeria Professional Football (NPFL) side, Kano Pillars, in a short-term deal that will expire at the end of the 2020/2021 season.

At the age of 28, the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner signed a deal with the Sai Masu Gida with a clause that will see him leave once he gets an offer from a European side. Since his departure from Saudi Pro League side, Al Nassr, in October 2020, the Nigerian highest World Cup goal scorer has been without a club and questions regarding his fitness level were raised when Gernot Rohr invited him for the last phase of the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho.
