Nigerian Mixed Martial Artist (MMA), Israel Adesanya, on Sunday, December 27, 2020, during the 12th edition of the Fighters Only World MMA Awards, won the Fighter of the Year for 2020. Sunday’s award means the ‘’Stylebender” has emerged the best fighter consecutively on two occasions. Adesanya who holds the UFC Middleweight belt and boasts a 20-0 career record after his victories over Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa this year, bagged the Charles ‘Mask’ Lewis Fighter of the Year Award, and the prize for International Fighter of the Year.
